All honey extraction and bottling is done onsite in a DAFM (Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine) inspected and certified premises. The dedicated honey room meets all hygiene and food safety standards.  

Products are sold locally to retailers in the Oughterard and Galway region.

Provision of complete beekeeping services to enterprises predominantly in the hospitality sector. This includes:

• Harvesting honey from onsite apiaries

Owenriff honey can set-up, manage and harvest honey for you to sell. On request, additional services such as an introduction to bee-keeping and bee-keeping experience packages can be arranged for guests.
